Terms and Conditions of Sale
1° Purpose of the company
The purpose of our company is to provide services and sell scientific engineering equipment, particularly in relation to electromagnetic fields.
2° Enforceability
The customer accepts our terms and conditions of service and sale, to the exclusion of all others, and waives the right to invoke their own.
3° Order
The order will only be confirmed after payment has been received in our bank account.

5° Shipping costs
Shipping costs are not included in the prices displayed for the various products. They depend on the products and delivery locations.
Certain products or orders exceeding £1,000 including VAT may be shipped without insurance against loss or damage. Our company will notify the customer of the shipping method (with or without insurance) before dispatch. The customer has the option of taking out insurance against loss and damage to the parcel by paying for this insurance.
6° Payment & Price Discounts
Any bill of exchange or other acceptance of payment does not constitute a novation or derogation from this clause. Our company remains the owner of all goods until they have been paid for in full, including interest and costs. In the event of non-payment, our company reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately by simple notice, eight days after a formal notice has remained without result, without prejudice to the right to compensation and reimbursement of costs incurred.
Discounts and vouchers, excluding promotions displayed on each product page, are granted for all items in the same order. In the event of order cancellation or return of any of these products, the overall discount granted on the initial order will be cancelled and deducted from the amount to be refunded.
7° Complaints
Any complaints are only valid if they are sent to us by registered post within eight days of delivery, in the case of a hidden defect. Complaints regarding product non-compliance must be made within the same time frame.
The non-compliant product must be returned within 15 days, in accordance with the law.
The mere fact of making a complaint does not release the customer from their obligation to pay. Our warranty is limited in all cases to the replacement of the product and, if replacement is not possible, to a refund of the price paid. The seller's liability is limited in any case to the invoiced value of the goods delivered.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code concerning the amicable settlement of disputes, EXPERCEM is a member of the Vivons Mieux Ensemble mediation service, whose contact details are: 465 avenue de la Libération 54 000 NANCY - www.mediation@vivons-mieux-ensemble.fr approved by the Commission d'évaluation et de contrôle de la médiation de la consommation (Commission for the Evaluation and Control of Consumer Mediation), which may be contacted by the customer, as may the platform https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.show&lng=FR, after first writing to EXPERCEM.
8° Withdrawal - Cancellation - Refund - Product return
In accordance with current legislation, the customer has 15 days from the date of receipt of the product(s) to exercise their right of withdrawal and return the product received. Return costs are borne by the buyer, except in the case of a product error on our part.
No withdrawal, product return or order refund is possible in the following cases:
- a special order or request from the customer, in particular for fabric-based items (curtains, canopies, clothing, etc.) and for various cuts (canvas, fabric, mesh, sheaths, cables, etc.).
- the return of a product, in particular any clothing or product using fabrics, which has been used (for hygiene reasons in the case of products made from technical fabrics containing technology to protect against electromagnetic fields), soiled, damaged, poorly folded, or returned in a condition and packaging that is not identical to the original.
We also offer canopies and certain technological products for hire for the Customer to try out.
In the case of a product(s) with free shipping when ordered by the customer, the refund amount will be deducted from the shipping cost that our company paid to send this product to the customer. The customer will receive the shipping cost of the parcel(s) from the carrier upon request by email, telephone, fax, or letter.
Products must be returned or sent back in their original packaging and condition, in perfect condition.
The products described below cannot be returned or exchanged by our company (except in the case of a manufacturing defect) if their packaging has been opened: paints, glues, liquid compounds, and all fabrics sold by the metre.
Fabric and canvas products (canopies, rugs, bedding, curtains, clothing, etc.) and/or products selected in a specific size by the customer on the merchant site cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Cut fabrics and cloths cannot be returned unless agreed by our company.
Clothing cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. They are also considered technical products.
Items marked "On order..." on their specific presentation page cannot be returned under any circumstances, unless a manufacturing defect is found when the package is opened.
LEBLOK brand products cannot be returned by the buyer, but only on firm order, except in the case of a warranty issue. These products are very often ordered directly from the supplier and the delivery time is sometimes long, exceeding 3 weeks or even a month.
Items that operate on electricity cannot be returned if they have been used (CPL filters, extension cords, cables, IACs, etc.).
Detection devices returned within 15 days of receipt and for which a refund is requested from us may, at our sole discretion, be subject to a €50 deduction from the refund, corresponding to the standard rental cost of a detection device.
Products ordered as indicated on the product page will not be accepted for return except for size exchanges, and always subject to the conditions set out above.
Refunds for products returned from abroad will be made with a deduction of 15% of the value of the product, including postage.
Cable reels and armoured sheaths will also be refunded in the event of return at their value minus a fee of €21 excluding VAT per item.
All returns must be sent with a return slip, which will be sent to you upon request by email at contact@expercem.com or by telephone, or on a separate sheet of paper with the invoice included in the parcel, stating the reason for the return. The return address, which depends on the product being returned, will be provided to you by telephone or email upon request.
Products left in storage at our company will become our property, which the customer accepts, one year after the date of receipt of a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt from us instructing the customer to collect their goods.
The customer acknowledges that they have taken note of these withdrawal conditions and accepts that they supersede the laws issued by the Consumer Code regarding distance selling (the customer is under no obligation whatsoever to purchase the technical and technological products we distribute).
9° Guarantees and responsibilities
The warranties on the products are those applicable by the manufacturers, failing which one year.
Any non-conformities that appear within six months will be fully covered by EXPERCEM and a compliant product will be returned to the customer after the non-compliant product has been returned.
The customer benefits from a warranty against hidden defects. Any products found to have such defects will be replaced by EXPERCEM after the defective products have been returned.
The customer shall ensure that they have the necessary skills to select and install the electromagnetic wave and field protection products that we distribute in order to achieve the results they expect.
Our company declines all responsibility whatsoever, in any place and at any time, for any military, material, immaterial or physical consequences related to living beings of any kind, or related to health of any kind, whether directly or indirectly related to electromagnetic fields (electricity, waves, microwaves, high/medium/low frequencies, sound, light, infrared, nuclear), consequences related directly or indirectly to our products, our interventions (installations, expertise, advice, etc.).
10° Retention of title
The goods delivered remain our property until full payment of the invoice (Law 80-335 of 12/05/1980). Failure to pay any of the instalments within the specified time limits shall automatically result in the return of the goods and/or the cancellation of the contract by our company without legal formalities. The customer shall bear all costs of litigation services as well as any legal and judicial costs.
11° Disputes and competent jurisdiction
Sales or contracts concluded in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. The customer acknowledges that the courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction in the event of legal proceedings.
