NA8 Comfort 16A automatic field switch Gigahertz Solutions

For LED circuits and low-energy bulbs, as well as dimmers and illuminated switches.

The AFC disconnects the electrical circuit when there is no current consumption.

It restores the voltage as soon as it detects a demand for electricity.

The AFC is installed in the distribution box, after the fuse cut-off or circuit breaker of the circuit to be protected.
The same AFC can protect one or more electrical circuits.

Technical data:

  • Current: 16 A
  • Monitoring voltage: 230 VDC max. 8 mA
  • Single-pole Width: 2P or 35 mm
  • Weight: 108 grams
  • Dimensions: 2 units on the panel (34 mm), height 55 mm
  • Sensitivity: 0-3 mA
  • Cut-off delay: 3 s
  • Connection delay: 0.1 s
  • Indicator lights: Green = circuit protected / Yellow = circuit under load (1 LED lit = low consumption - 2 LEDs lit = high consumption)
  • Adjustable trip and engagement thresholds make the IAC compatible with very low power consumption (from 1W)
  • Supplied with a control night light that plugs into the room concerned and switches off when the light is turned off or the bedside lamp is switched off, for example, or remains on if a power consumer has been left on.
  • Comes with a 1 µF Gigahertz Solutions filter, to be mounted directly on the automatic field switch (at the electrical panel). This filter reduces voltage spikes in the mains power supply that pollute the home's electrical network ("dirty power"), while increasing the stability of the current and the reliability of the automatic field switch, particularly when using LED bulbs.
  • VDE certification (German Federation of Electrical Engineering Industries)

Application and choice of AFCS:

- 1 IAC per electrical circuit from the power supply panel with an amperage greater than or equal to the amperage of the electrical circuit

- 8 sockets or lights per electrical circuit

- For a lighting circuit, except for low-energy or LED bulbs, use a 10A AFC, type NA1 Comfort Gigahertz Solutions

- For a lighting circuit with low-energy or LED bulbs, or for a circuit with electrical sockets, use a 16A RCD, type NA7 Comfort Gigahertz Solutions

- For a circuit with electric shutters or electric doors, use an Ultima 8 Gigahertz Solutions
