ME3851A device for measuring and detecting electric and magnetic fields for semi-professionals. Analysis of a frequency band from 5 Hertz to 100,000 Hertz (100 KHz) with a frequency filter that separates the frequency bands.

The ME3851A with handpiece has the "common advantages". It is particularly popular among doctors and naturopaths, as it ideally combines simple use with professional measurements. It allows for easy allocation of electrostress frequencies to traction current, line current, or even artificial harmonics, thus facilitating a particularly accurate consultation of possible remediation measures and simple monitoring of their effectiveness.

It includes all the features of the ME3851A and offers the following additional elements:

  • A switchable internal filter, as found on professional devices, allows analysis of different frequency bands, such as those produced by railway traction current and those produced by artificial sources of higher frequencies.
  • Broadband measurement (RMS)
  • Limit values are lower for higher frequencies.
  • Electric field probe relative to ground potential, one-dimensional magnetic field
  • AC and DC outputs

Frequency range: 5 Hz to 100 KHz (compensated, better than -2 dB). Internal and adjustable
frequency filter: 16.6 Hz bandpass filter, 50 Hz high-pass filter, 2 kHz high-pass filter for identification and evaluation of pollution sources
Measuring range: Magnetic flux density (one-dimensional): 0.1 - 1999 nT
Electric field strength: 0.1 - 1999 V/m
Accuracy: +/- 2%, +/- 7 digits @ 50/60 Hz
Sensor: E probe for measuring LF electric fields - B probe for measuring LF magnetic flux density
Audio analysis: An acoustic signal proportional to the field strength, similar to a "Geiger counter effect", helps to identify areas of high exposure.
Power supply: Rechargeable battery included in the instrument Average operating
time of 7 to 8 hours Low battery
indicator on the display, automatic power-off function
Charger/power supply included
Signal evaluation: RMS
Outputs: AC and DC output
Several questions: 2-year warranty
Weight: 0.74 kg
