The Gigahertz Solutions HFE59b analysis kit measures frequencies from 27MHz - 3.3 GHz (with optional additional tolerance at 3.3 GHz), has a UBB27_G3 antenna (27 to 3300 MHz), a BP filter greater than 800 MHz, a 10dB (10x) HV10_27G3 preamplifier, a DG20 attenuator of -20dB (-100x), and a K2 case.

This kit, based on the HF59B, has a sensitivity of approx. 93dB and offers excellent dynamic response during measurements. The innovative features of the HF59B base unit in combination with the UBB27 antenna offer enormous possibilities when evaluating different frequency bands. The function and equipment of this device are tailored to the needs and practice of green building. Due to its comparatively low price, it is also often used in science and industry, especially in the EMC and product development sectors.

This kit contains an HF59B and a range of accessories:

  • UBB27_G3 horizontal ultra-wideband antenna from 27 MHz to 3.3 GHz (limited by the frequency response of the HF59B instrument)
  • The 800 MHz high-bandwidth filter ref. HP800_G3 allows the suppression of lower radio frequencies when measuring with a log-per antenna and the HF59B device
  • The HV10_27G3 high-frequency preamplifier increases the sensitivity level by a factor of 10 dB (i.e. 10 times) when the measured background noise is too low. This is often important for radar mode measurements or for UMTS/3G
  • The DG20_G3 attenuator allows intense fields of more than 20 dB (or a factor of 100) of 1,999 mW/m² (= 1.999 W/m²) to be measured
  • K2-type plastic case (not shown): made of foam for safe transport of all components. It offers enough space to store another Gigahertz Solutions measuring device (high frequency or low frequency).
