NewDayLite Swiss Shield® fabric -30 dB (1m lin.)

€65.83

(Prices incl. VAT, except outside the EU)

NewDayLite Swiss Shield® -30 dB® fabric is a flexible, lightweight, highly breathable fabric that offers excellent performance in attenuating high frequencies from 0.5 to 20 GHz. This fabric reflects high frequencies.

Sold by the linear metre: 1m*2.5m = 2.5m2!

A 0.02-millimetre copper wire is coated with silver wire. To prevent any metal from escaping into the atmosphere or potentially oxidising, this metal wire is completely covered with a polyester sheath. The wire is then 0.024 millimetres thick. This manufacturing process is unique in the world and is covered by a global patent.

Sold by the linear metre: 1m*2.5m = 2.5m2

The mesh of this fabric is more airy than that of Swiss Shield Natural Fabric and HFshield–50dB Poly Fabric. Used by industries in various countries, it is also used for curtain-type screen fabrics, canopy/canopy "Faraday cage" anti-high frequency during the sleep phase (SLEEPING HFshield), as well as for the manufacture of high frequency protective clothing.

Characteristics:

  • Biocompatible. It contains little metal, thus avoiding any possible poisoning from excessive metal content when the metal oxidises through respiration once the body is inside the Faraday cage.
  • Extremely hypoallergenic
  • Antiseptic
  • Highly breathable
  • Highly luminous
  • Resistant and tear-resistant
  • Easy to handle and use
  • Antistatic
  • Designed for people with chemical sensitivities (hypoallergenic)
  • Materials: Silver/copper/polyester
  • Standard length: 1 m (2.5 m²), 4 m (10 m²), 20 m (50 m²)
  • Width: 2.5 m
  • Thickness: 0.1 mm
  • Colour: white
  • Approximate weight: 65 g/m²

Attenuation efficiency:

  • Electrostatic fields: 99% attenuation
  • Electric fields, low frequencies: 99%
  • High frequencies: according to the certificate below:

Possible applications:

  • Curtains made from this fabric significantly reduce the penetration of high frequencies from mobile phones (relay antennas) while allowing daylight to enter.
  • Faraday cages can be made to create a closed enclosure, which is the most effective solution for attenuating high frequencies. See the SLEEPING HFShield tab.
  • Linings for clothing that protect against high frequencies. The Swiss army uses this protective fabric for its soldiers, as well as for technicians responsible for measuring high-frequency emissions near transmitting antennas.
