Edge adhesive for RDF 72 anti-wave film - FKV 50 - RDF 50 - RDF 62

With its 12 layers of ultra-thin metal, this accessory is essential for minimising the risk of corrosion.

Preparation:

For best results, use the following tools:

  • FKV 50 concentrate
  • Window spray bottle
  • Spray bottle
  • FVR 10 squeegee
  • Kitchen roll
  • Cutter
  • Window squeegee

Application:

Preliminary cleaning:

  • Start by thoroughly cleaning the window using a window squeegee, window cleaner spray or even a scraper if necessary.
  • Dry your window thoroughly with kitchen roll.

 Pre-cut the film:

  • Simply pre-cut the film on a table using a cutter, to a size 2 to 3 cm larger than the window.
  • Remove the protective film
  • Peel off the protective film from the adhesive side and thoroughly wet the adhesive side of the film with FKL 50 concentrate (diluted in 0.5 litres of water).
  • Spray the diluted FKL 50 concentrate generously onto the glass.

Apply the adhesive to the glass:

  •  Apply the adhesive side of the film to the glass (inside).

 Smooth with the FVR10 squeegee:

  • Spray the diluted FKL 50 concentrate onto the film again and smooth with the FVR 10 squeegee (to remove air bubbles). Work from the centre outwards, starting at the top. If joining two pieces of film, apply them edge to edge.

Finishing touches:

  • Remove
  • excess water with paper towels, taking care not to move the film.
  • Finally, trim the film to a size 2 mm smaller than the window (the film must not touch the frame) and smooth again.

  • Condition
