HSF54 YShield paint, 1 litre – anti-electromagnetic waves
(Prices incl. VAT, except outside the EU)
HSF54 Yshield 1L paint, €50 including VAT, protects against electromagnetic waves from -43 to -100dB from 10 MHz to 40GHz against high frequencies (5G relay antennas, Wi-Fi, Wimax, etc.) and low-frequency electric fields.

HSF54 Yshield paint blocks electromagnetic waves from -43 to -100dB from 10 MHz to 40GHz against high frequencies (5G relay antennas, Wi-Fi, Wimax, etc.) and low-frequency electric fields.
YShield® wall paints protect your home from external electromagnetic fields, whether high frequency (relay antennas, Wi-Fi, Wimax, satellites, radar, DECT, wireless telecommunications networks, microwave repeaters, etc.) or low frequency (EDF electrical power lines, etc.).
They create a shielded enclosure (Faraday cage) that prevents external electrosmog (electromagnetic pollution) from entering your home.
These paints do not use metal compounds like other paints, but only carbon, which acts as a conductor.
The paint therefore does not oxidise and, more importantly, it prevents excessive re-emissions in the home from internal sources that can emit electromagnetic fields.
They can be used indoors or outdoors and are environmentally friendly and healthy, as they do not contain any solvents or toxic chemical additives. They are applied in the same way as conventional paints.
They are also used for shielding:
- Strategically sensitive rooms where computer and frequency data must not be leaked to the outside.
- Electronic components to prevent high-frequency interference between multiple components and enable HF compatibility.
Features:
- Biocompatible and hypoallergenic: contains no metal, solvents or toxic chemical additives # Resistant and tear-resistant
- Handling and application comparable to standard paint
- Washable with water
- Antistatic
- Designed for people with allergies or chemical sensitivities (hypoallergenic)
- Application surface: plaster, cement, cob, existing paint. Surfaces must be degreased and carefully prepared to remove any porous roughness. A primer may be necessary
- Application technique: brush, paint roller, paint sprayer
- Application conditions: above 5°C, dry weather, drying time = 12 to 36 hours depending on temperature. Ideally, YShield® paints should be covered with 2 coats of water-repellent latex paint outdoors and 2 coats of latex, vinyl or acrylic paint indoors. After shielding rooms with YShield® paint, an electrical differential must be installed to avoid any risk of overvoltage. The electrical current must be turned off in the home before any work with YShield® paints.
- Earthing: YShield® paints must be earthed using YShield® earthing kits for exterior and interior paints.
- We accept no liability for damage caused to persons, animals or objects by incorrect application of the paint, in particular grounding and electrical installation that does not comply with DIN 57100 / VDE 0100 standards. We recommend that the electrical installation and grounding of YShield® paints be checked by a qualified electrician.
- Attenuation efficiency: -43dB high frequencies - Electrostatic fields: 99% attenuation - Electric fields, low frequencies: 99% - Ideal for attenuating future applications in the telecommunications industry in high frequencies (excellent attenuation up to 18 GHz)
Emissions concerned:
- GSM/DCS/GPRS/UMTS cellular telephone network
- DECT cordless telephone
- WLAN
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Microwave (microwave oven leakage)
- Satellite transmission
- Radar
- WiMAX
- Radio
- Tetra
- CB
- 50Hz electrical current
YShield® paints have various applications:
- Military: shielding of highly confidential sites to prevent data transmission hacking.
- High-tech industry: shielding electronic components to resolve electromagnetic compatibility issues
- Medical: shielding of rooms or specific medical equipment with high electromagnetic radiation to protect healthcare professionals and patients. YShield® paints offer a range to suit all needs.

YShield® paints contain no toxic solvents, plasticisers or toxic components, only very small amounts of initial volatile organic compounds in order to comply with the most stringent ecological housing standards. The attenuation graphs are certified by the University of Munich of the German Armed Forces.
Description:
HSF 54 paint:
- Pure acrylic, HF & LF attenuation, indoor/outdoor application, frost resistant upon delivery. The most consistent in terms of its qualities: pure acrylic, very good attenuation of 40 dB (99.99%) for one coat, high water resistance, satisfactory ecological quality, good adhesion to application surfaces (cement, plaster, wallpaper, polystyrene, etc.), high resistance to cold upon delivery.Ingredients: Water, pure acrylic binder, graphite, carbon, additives, preservatives.

Shielding of glass surfaces:
Glazed surfaces must also be shielded so that high frequencies and low frequencies cannot penetrate through these areas. We recommend using HFshield fabric for high-frequency attenuation and low-frequency electric fields. Description of YShield® grounding kits:
Earthing kit (ES):
All painted surfaces must be earthed. This kit is specially designed for earthing YShield® paints.

Interior connection tape (EB):
This connecting tape ensures that all surfaces painted with YShield® paints inside an enclosed room are earthed in the event of a crack. It is self-adhesive. Length: 10 m, width: 2 cm, thickness: 0.06 mm.

External connection tape (LB):
This connecting tape ensures that all surfaces painted with YShield® paints outside a home or building are earthed in the event of cracks. It is tear-resistant and weatherproof. Length 10 m, width 17 mm, thickness 0.8 mm, hole diameter: 5 mm.

Examples of application:
1 - Interior painting:
Shielding a bedroom to attenuate HF and VHF (high and very low frequencies) from a relay antenna. High frequency measurement before applying YShield® paint: received power = 8.2 µW/m2

High frequency measurement after applying YShield® paint: received power = 0.2 µW/m2
